Product detailed description
Uses:
- vulcanized rubber gasket, lens-shaped, rounded at the tips and vulcanized steel ring that absorbs tightening pressure well
- the outer diameter exactly matches the inner diameter of the screw holes, making it self-centring
- the field of application is where the safe sealing of water, waste water, gases, air, acids, alkalis is required
- suitable for all steel, stainless steel, polypropylene, PVC, polyethylene and coated flanges
Ingredients:
- Elastomeric rubber in various grades - each with a vulcanised steel ring
Products:
- Dimensions in DIN 2690 = DIN EN 1514-1 for pressure grades PN 6 - PN 40
- NBR and EPDM materials
Material NBR-GW
Field of application:
- Gas and drinking water according to pr EN 682 (DIN 3535T3) directly according to KTW D1/D2, 1.3.31 BGA for drinking water.
Certificates:
- DVGW KTW (gas potable water)
Chemical resistance:
- NBR vulcanizates resist: mineral oils and fats, diesel, gasoline, many dilute acids and alkalis at ambient temperature, water and many salt solutions at ambient temperature, animal and vegetable fats
- NR vulcanizates do not resist: aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, strongly oxidizing acids, polar solvents
EPDM material - KTW
Field of application:
- Drinking/waste water directly according to KTW D1/D2,1.3.31 BGA for drinking water
Certificates:
- KTW (drinking water)
Chemical resistance:
- EPDM vulcanizates resist: water and aqueous salt solutions, many dilute acids and alkalis, polar substances such as alcohols, esters and ketones, detergents, water-glycol based hydraulic fluids (HFC fluids), phosphoric acid ester based hydraulic fluids (HFD-R fluids)
- NR vulcanizates do not resist: aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, strongly oxidizing acids
Uses: good chemical resistance, in addition to good resistance to ozone, ageing and weathering
