Uses:
- material resists high temperatures
- easy to machine, yet strong enough to be wound onto various pipes and curved surfaces
- also used as a low-thickness thermal insulation material in the energy, mechanical engineering, metallurgical and foundry industries as well as the electrical industry
- serves as thermal protection in welding and brazing, as joint sealing for refractory masonry and refractory structures, high-temperature aggregates, for thermal insulation of furnace linings, laboratory furnaces and household electrical appliances

- produced by papermaking technology from a water suspension composed of fibrous aluminosilicate fibres, organic binder and additives
