Uses:

• material resists high temperatures
• easy to machine, yet strong enough to be wound onto various pipes and curved surfaces
• also used as a low-thickness thermal insulation material in the energy, mechanical engineering, metallurgical and foundry industries as well as the electrical industry
• serves as thermal protection in welding and brazing, as joint sealing for refractory masonry and refractory structures, high-temperature aggregates, for thermal insulation of furnace linings, laboratory furnaces and household electrical appliances
