Uses:

• Air, water, gas, steam, oxygen, chemical plants
• has a minimum coefficient of friction
• Resistant to all chemical elements and solvents, except for some alkaline /basic/ elements under special conditions /see DuPont description/
• is odourless and tasteless up to a temperature of 270°C and, although it is a plastic material, it is insoluble: at temperatures above 327°C it becomes a highly viscous gel

Mini-Val is a PTFE Teflon superelastic fastener for universal use for threaded connections of metal and plastic pipes, couplings and fittings. It guarantees maximum sealing and complies with all EU standards for gas, oxygen, drinking water and food industry ( DIN EN 751/3 - DIN EN 1797-1 - F.D.A. - WRAS ).

Temperature resistance: -200°C to 280°C

Pressure resistance: 210 bar

Chemical resistance: pH 0-14 /full range/

Specific gravity: 0.8 g/cm3
